Students had an opportunity to hear and learn more about Montenegro, institutional, legal and strategic framework in tourism, related strategic goals and specific activities as well as about projects aimed at the diversification of tourism products – for example Panoramic routes, Hiking & Biking, Peaks of the Balkans, Showshoeing, and briefly about the projects Paths of wine, cheese and honey, which have been implemented or are being implemented in Montenegro. A special part of the presentation was dedicated to the NTO activities relating to the destination management and promotion of Montenegro in the country and abroad.
In this way, the students were able to improve their knowledge of tourism policy-making, development of tourism products and promoting it, as well as the challenges that Montenegro is faced with in the field of tourism. These topics in the field of the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism and National Tourism Organization were closely linked to contents of the students` curriculum at university.
At the end of the visit satisfaction was expressed with the students' interest for Montenegro and its tourism development, since they posed a great variety of questions to their hosts. The hosts expressed their hope that they are satisfied by staying in Montenegro and invited them to re-visit Montenegro.
